The Watchmakers AppEbauches S.A. 1942 watch movements catalogue
Deniss Fedotovs, 04.03.2026., 18:06In 1942, the #5 catalogue of watch movement calibers produced by Ebauches S.A. companies was published. The catalogue has almost 300 pages and features hundreds of movement images with parts lists from A. Schild, FHF, A. Michel, Felsa, Venus, Betlach, Arogno, ETA, Fleuer, Peseux, Chezard and Unitas, published in previous catalogue, and additionally Tavannes, Derby and Landeron.
Same layout as in previous catalogues. Still some cylinder escapment calibers listed (particulary AM), few Roskopf style calibers, many calibers listed with indirect sweep second hand. Venus 152, 170, 175 and Landeron 39, 47, 48, 49, 52 chronographs are there, some bumper automatics. The more modern (straight cut) shapes of movements are very well represented (think of AS 1194 as example).

For those without access to The Watchmakers App, a reprint of the 1942 Ebauches S.A. catalogue published in Berlin in 2019 in a limited edition is available on Amazon and Flume website. Unfortunatelly they skipped the parts lists pages, which sometimes contain some usefull information (we were able to source some of those for The Watchmakers App).
