Ebauches S.A. 1935 watch movements catalogue

Deniss Fedotovs, 29.12.2025., 17:12

In 1935, another catalogue of watch movement calibers produced by Ebauches S.A. companies was published. The catalogue has around 360 pages and features hundreds of movement images with parts lists from A. Schild, FHF, A. Michel, Felsa, Aurore-Villeret, Sonceboz, Landeron, Venus, Berger, Betlach, Arogno, Landeron, ETA, Fleuer, Peseux and Unitas.

The 1935 catalogue is probably second or third catalogue published by Ebauches SA, and since 1928, when first catalogue was published, several other brands had joined the Ebauches SA, so movements from these new joinees are also represented in the 1935 catalogue: Betlach, Arogno, Landeron, ETA, Fleuer, Peseux and Unitas.

This catalogue represents wristwatch and pocket watch movements with lever and cylinder escapements, also the very first Landeron chronographs can be found.

As far as I know there are no reprints of 1935 catalogue, so finding one can be quite challenging. Similarly as with catalogue published in 1928 until recently, much of the information about the calibers listed in the 1935 catalogue had never been published online, and many of these movements were either unidentified or misidentified. This made it difficult to find spare parts or donor movements for repairing broken watches.

Information about all movements listed in Ebauches S.A. 1935 catalogue is already available in The Watchmakers App.
